Dripping Gold

HAPPY EASTER everyone!!
Our Lord is RISEN!

It’s a blessing to be able to experience yet another Easter, and reflect on the amazing sacrifice made for us thousands of years ago.

I love Easter because it’s such a great reminder that we are not alone. We all have our various struggles and areas of weakness but God tells us in Hebrews 13:5 that He will never leave us, nor forsake us.

I know in times when our situations are so REAL, and we find ourselves in the deepest darkest places, it feels almost impossible to believe that God is there. And you wonder why God is letting you go through whatever you’re going through… It’s exactly how Jesus felt on the cross, asking God why He had forsaken him. The same way Christ died and rose again, is the same way you and i have to believe that whatever the situation is, we will rise from it.

Do not let one phase of your life define your whole Life. Understand that you have a purpose, and that God is intentional, He makes no mistakes.

I titled this post ‘Dripping Gold’ firstly because my outfit is Gold, but also because of what the colour Gold symbolizes. It’s interesting because in various religions such as Christianity, islam and hinduism, Gold is a significant colour. In christianity it symbolizes the divinity of God, in Islam it symbolizes paradise, and in Hindu it symbolizes knowledge and mental development. Gold is also associated with love, passion, wealth and glamour, all positive things we aim to possess in life.

I don’t know about you, but i know my life is created to be dripping in Gold. I know i am made for greatness because i serve a great God, and anything short of that is not from Him. On this Easter Sunday i am grateful for the compassion and Love He has for me, to send his only son to die for my sins, even before i commit them. The song ‘I stand amazed’ by Sinach honestly describes how i feel about God, i highly recommend you listen to it if you haven’t.

Don’t forget to celebrate today, and fill your spirit with Joy!
