What happened to Beauty With Vee? Ahh… I’m glad you asked!
First off, i’ll start by wishing you all a Happy New Year!
We blinked and just like that, 2018 has now become a thing of the past.
I do pray this year brings you all great joy and happiness. And that you allow this year to be your year of facing your fears, because these words you read are me facing one of mine.
The past 5 years have been filled with me battling with my mind and inner thoughts. Thoughts i don’t always share but were ever so present. Every year i’ve said to myself, “Okay, this is the year you take back control and just put out this damn website!!” But i just end up abandoning it around mid March, and give up. I’ve come to the conclusion that i was simply afraid. Afraid of a space i call mine not being perfect. Comparing the quality of my pictures and write-ups to those of some amazing bloggers i follow. Looking at where they are now with their blogs, and swiftly forgetting how long it might have taken them to get to there.
I was in dire need of a reality check! Silly Silly Me!
Now to answer your question. I simply felt i needed a fresh start, a new beginning. I felt like the name ‘Beauty With Vee’ kind of, sort of put me in a box. Yes I am a makeup artist, but there’s so much more to Victoria than just makeup. I love fashion, I love to travel, I love Food! And i love to share my experiences with you all.
And so my friends, this is why i have decided to shift gears and rebrand. ‘Beauty With Vee’ has indeed brought me so many amazing opportunities, and connected me to amazing people. I am and will always be grateful for this. ‘Beauty With Vee’ was my stepping stone. The key that has unlocked many doors.
I am now ready for bigger and greater opportunities God willing, and i really hope this new space of mine is able to put a smile on your face, or even inspire you to take a leap of faith as well. Please be expectant of weekly posts from me expressing myself like never before.
